Christian was born to Austrian / South American parents. They moved from blisteringly cold and grim South America to the shores of sunny Brixton in London, where he gained a deep love of calypso and developed a keen sense of sarcasm. in his later years Christian graduated with a Masters degree with distinction in Photography from the University of the Arts, London.
He participated in various group shows as part of a contemporary photography collective called Latitude, which actively questioned the ever changing role of the image within contemporary culture.
Christian also assisted commercial photographers who worked primarily on 4x5 and 8x10 cameras.
A photographer first and an image maker second, he considers and participates in all types and forms of image making. His work stems from a deep love of London life as a child with foreign parents and his strive to tug at the fabric of personal memories and experiences.
Christian cuurrently Lives and works between LA and Europe and has been published in various fashion magazines and art publications.
